The Klinik
This year's headline at Bodyfest 2011. It is with great great pleasure we present one of the most legendary synthband ever. Marc Verhaegen formed The Klinik in 1982 and met Dirk Ivens in 1985 who previously had been active with Absolute Body Control since 1979. These guys are definitely among the pioneers of the EBM scene with their rare sound of brutal rhytms, minimalistic lyrics and creepy melodies that characterise the band. You will also recognise the sound of Marc Verhaegen's distorted sounding trumpet that appears frequently throughout their albums. Visiting Sweden on the Tinitus festival in 2009 they did an amazing show and when appearing on the big stage of Nalen we look forward to an equally fantastic concert. A concert you simply cannot miss. With hit songs like "Hours and hours", "Black Leather", "Memories" and "Moving your hands" we give you this years synth experience.
