A Split Second; with severly danceable tunes this former giant within the Belgian EBM scene takes on Nalen's main stage. Formed in 1985 and picked up by Antler Records which resulted in their first 12" in 1986. With albums like "Ballistic Statues", "From the Inside" and "Kiss of Fury" they cemented their place in EBM history.
They're also held accountable for the creation of the New Beat scene which had a huge underground success all over Europe in the late eighties. As the story goes a Belgian DJ, by mistake, played the single "Flesh" on 33rpm instead of 45rpm, thus creating a whole new genre.
This style had influences from EBM, Acid and early underground house music. A couple of years ago, A Split Second started playing live again and they haven't been in Sweden for a very long time which makes this booking extra special. With songs like "On Command", "Rigor Mortis", "Mambo Witch", "Firewalker" and previously mentioned "Flesh" to name a few, we are certain that this will be a gig to remember.
